July and August daily 9 am-8 pm

Iron Bridge Historical Museum, 1 James Street, Iron Bridge ON Located at the east side of Iron Bridge on James Street and Hwy 17 across from the LCBO. The museum consists of a log cabin (circa 1879) and a new log house (some timber from the Tulloch-Carlyle house 1870s and 80s). Our covered picnic area and modern toilets make us a "must stop" between Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie. Our log cabin displays tools and equipment used by the early settlers in logging and farming from the 1860s to the 1940s. The new log house is in the process of being set up as a 1930s era home. We also serve as a tourist information booth for the area. Annual events include a pork supper fundraiser in March; Farmers' Market Sat. 9am-2pm July to end of Sept.; Teddy Bear Picnic in July; Children's Craft Days in July and August;Harvest Festival the last weekend of September.
